Frequently Asked Questions

Why did we build QuickKit? (The story behind this site)

We built QuickKit out of sheer frustration with modern online utility sites. Today, compressing a simple PNG or merging two PDF files requires navigating 15 popups, waiting in artificial "free tier" queues, and inevitably hitting a "You have used your 2 free files today, pay $12/month to continue" paywall.

Even worse is the privacy risk: legacy tool websites force you to upload your sensitive contracts, tax documents, private family photos, and JWT authentication tokens to unknown cloud servers. We engineered QuickKit using modern browser WebAssembly and HTML5 Canvas APIs so that 100% of the computing happens locally inside your browser memory. No paywalls, no upload queues, zero tracking, and your files never touch a remote server.

How does QuickKit process files without uploading them?

Every tool is built using pure client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and modern browser APIs. When you drop an image, PDF, SQL query, or audio snippet here, your computer's own processor completes the task locally in your browser tab.

How does QuickKit stay free? (Ads & Crypto Donations)

To keep QuickKit 100% free with unlimited usage forever, we rely on two clean, honest monetization channels:

  • Google AdSense: Clean, non-intrusive display advertisements placed in sidebars and headers so we never have to lock tools behind paywalls or sell user data.
  • Community Crypto Donations (BEP-20): If QuickKit saved you time or helped your business, you can support serverless development directly by tipping our BEP-20 wallet (BNB / USDT / USDC) in the footer below. Every tip directly funds continuous open-source tool development!
Does QuickKit work offline?

Yes! Once loaded, all logic runs offline in your browser cache. You can use these tools with or without an active internet connection.
